Jump around with the keyboard, act on the record in front of you with Ctrl+K, and keep the lists you use every day.
For everyone in the office
Keyboard shortcuts
- Press ? anywhere (outside a text box) to see the shortcuts you can use.
- Press g, then a letter, to go to a page: g h Home, g s the Calendar, g j Jobs, g c Customers, g q Quotes, g i Invoices, g r Reporting.
- Press c, then a letter, to create something: c j a job, c q a quote, c i an invoice, c c a customer.
- You only get shortcuts to the pages your role opens.
- Press the two keys one after the other, not together.
Act on the record you're looking at
- Open a job, quote or invoice.
- Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac), or click Search… at the top.
- The top group, This invoice (or job, or quote), lists what you can do with it: its next step, Edit, Record payment, Send reminder, Duplicate and more.
- Type a few letters to narrow it, then press Enter.
- Deleting and voiding stay on the page itself, where they ask first.
Save a view of a list
- On Jobs, Quotes, Invoices, Customers or Items, set the list up: a status, a search, a sort.
- Click Views, then Save this view….
- Give it a name and click Save view.
- Next time, click Views and pick it. The button shows which view you're on.
- Your views are yours alone, and kept on this computer and browser.
- Saving under a name you already used replaces that view. Views, then Remove a view, deletes one.
